I’ve recently been asked, “How did you come up with your name, Farmhouse Creative?”

What a great question.  And it begs a follow up question, “Is there really a farmhouse?”

Farmhouse Creative is based out of Farmland, Indiana.  With a population of 1400, there are quite a few farmhouses in Farmland.  So, naturally, I live in one of those farmhouses!

This farmhouse sits in the middle of what I like to call “Howell Square.”  We are surrounded by my husband’s 7 relatives who live on our “country mile” – each with a farmhouse of their own.  My father-in-law and his 11 siblings were raised in this house.  Now The Husband and I get to raise our family here now too.  Ever since I started dating my now-husband, I’ve called this house The Farmhouse.  It only seemed natural to name the company “Farmhouse Creative”. So I did!
